Project Description
Rotary Club of Mechinagar, in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Mechinagar, organized a Safe Drinking Water Distribution Program on 10th August 2026 at Shivalaya Temple, Patal Ganga, Mechinagar-05 & 06. The program was organized with the objective of providing safe and clean drinking water to people visiting the temple and the surrounding area.
The joint initiative reflected the commitment of Rotary and Rotaract to community service and public welfare. Providing access to safe drinking water is particularly important at public and religious places where a large number of people gather.
The beneficiaries included devotees, visitors, local residents, and other members of the community visiting the Shivalaya Temple and surrounding Patal Ganga area. The program provided a useful community service to people without limiting the benefit to a specific group.
The program helped provide safe drinking water to the community and visitors at the temple premises. It contributed to public well-being and demonstrated the spirit of cooperation between Rotary Club of Mechinagar and Rotaract Club of Mechinagar. The initiative also strengthened youth and community participation in service activities.
