Oral Health Screening Campaign

Rotary club of Dharan Foothills on its Oral Health Screening Campaign conducted Oral Health Check up in 3 phases at Special Education Center and Shree Himali School respectively on August 7th, 14th and 21st 2026 in collaboration with Department of community Dentistry , BPKIHS with the theme "Every Smile Matters". Special Education Center caters specially abled children mostly with Autism . The task was challenging but oral health check up was successfully conducted in coordination with parents, school teachers, rotarians and Dentist . Similarly the campaign was continued in shree Himali School covering pral health Checkup up to grade 8 students. The proper tooth brushing technique and health eating habits session was carried out in each class . The school Kids greatly benefitted from the screening camp. The list of school kids requiring tooth restoration has been figured out and further plan of restoration will be done at school level itself referring only those requiring higher treatment to BPKIHS
